In conjunction with email, the club uses BAND as its central app for communication, ensuring that all paddlers stay informed and connected. The app provides real-time alerts for practice updates, weather-related cancellations, race announcements, and important club notices. Coaches and captains post schedules, training details, and reminders in group feeds, while members can use the chat feature for quick questions and coordination. The BAND app also supports sign-ups for practices, races, and volunteer activities, making it easy for paddlers to reserve seats, confirm attendance, and track participation. Together, these features help streamline organization, improve safety, and keep the entire club operating smoothly. Upon being a dues paying member, you will be granted access to the Hokuloa team in BAND.
