CLUB

MEMBERSHIP

As we are a non-profit, member-run club, we require all members to pay dues. Dues permit the club members use of club-owned canoes (OC1, OC2, OC6), paddles and racing equipment. Annual dues cover insurance, purchase and maintenance of club equipment and most race registration fees.

Want to join?

We'd love to have you! You're just a waiver, member agreement and dues payment away from being an official member of our competitive outrigger paddling club. Email us and we'll get you confirmed as a Holukoal in no time.

Race + Escort Boat Fees
Dues cover all race fees for SCORA distance races except Catalina. Dues cover all sprint race fees. Paddlers must pay an additional $55 per race for the 9-man races at Dana and Oceanside. The fee for the Catalina race will be $170 per paddlers to cover race and escort boat expenses.

Jerseys
Members pay for their own race jerseys. A club order will be assembled at the start of each season.

Paddles
Newer paddlers may use club paddles but are encouraged to purchase their own to race with. Experienced paddlers often have old paddles they offer for sale. Every year a group paddle purchase through KIALOA is offered to the members.

Payments
Dues can be paid by check or online (there is a third party surcharge).
