Kids are the lifeblood of any thriving community and for Hokuloa Outrigger Canoe Club its no different. We love our Keiki's energy and enthusiasm and there is nothing so rewarding as seeing a group of diverse young paddlers come together in a canoe, blending as a team while building strong and lasting friendships in the process.

This is why we paddle and why we invest so much time and passion in our Keiki Program.

Are you a young person between the ages of 10 and 19? Love the ocean, the beach and have some extra energy to burn? If you like to surf, SUP, or participate in The Junior Life Guard Program, outrigger paddling is a great way to cross train for those water sports.  Come on out and give outrigger canoe paddling a try. Its fun, challenging and will give you a great work out too. In addition,

Hokuloa's summer Keiki (kids) program focuses on the basic skills of outrigger canoe paddling including boat-handling, steering and rigging plus teamwork and having fun!
