She received her Masters degree in Athletic Coaching from WVU, as well as her Masters in Education.
Sarah joined Hokuloa in 2014 as a Novice. In her first year as Head Coach, she led Hokuloa through its most successful year of competition by placing third in overall points. She returns to
our coaching team this year as Head Coach, bringing her joy of paddling and focus on training for the competitive athlete to the beach.
Technical Coach: Fender Carnine
This is Fender's second year as our Technical Coach. He has coached in a variety of capacities over the past several years, and provides a wealth of experience to our team. We are fortunate to have him coach again in our 2021 Season. His passion for paddling is contagious. "My approach on coaching has always been to develop and build better paddlers, in a fun, safe, and inviting environment. This coaching format has helped Hokuloa in the overall success of our club and has made us more competitive in recent years."
